A Comprehensive Solution to Congestion and Shock Wave in Worship Areas
The characteristics of streets in areas of places of worship are often similar. They tend to be quiet or even empty during weekdays but become crowded during worship. This increase in traffic can cause congestion, shock waves, or even traffic jams. In this paper, we propose a solution to these problems by using the Ideal Flow Network Transport (IFN) approach to create scenarios that can help overcome such problems. Read more →
The Use of Ideal Flow Network and Traffic Flow Theory Concepts in Optimizing Traffic Circulation in Areas Adjacent to Business Centers
The growth of road users that is not accompanied by additional road capacity will certainly cause congestion. To overcome this, it is necessary to implement a modern transportation system, which no longer refers to the old and expensive traditional system. This research uses Ideal Flow Network and Traffic Flow Theory modeling to analyze the level of road congestion. The purpose of this research is to provide a solution to the congestion of the Raya Nginden – Panjang Jiwo – Nginden Intan Raya – Nginden Baru – Nginden Semolo road network to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the road. The research method used is literature study and data analysis. Read more →
